AMP A is comprised of young men and women between the ages of 13 and 19. Created in 2012, this program has followed the path set by their predecessors AMP World. Taking on their own identity to being a strong Independent A Class competitor on the national stage leads them to be recently promoted ​to the Open Class in 2019. Just as those before them, they continue to develop an unique characteristic through challenging physical, emotional, mental, and social activities while promoting the values of dedication, hard work, and commitment to a team effort. and pushing the levels of technique and performance to higher expectations.

MISSION​
To provide a powerful artistic voice and performance platform for at-risk youths in the city of Camden and its surrounding communities.  By establishing an Arts-centric program and partnering with the city of Camden, the AMP organization works to enhance and improve the quality of life for its members while giving them a ​sense of pride for their achievements.
